Accessibility at Loansville

We want everyone to be able to use loansville.ca, learn about our loans and apply.

Our commitment

Loansville Inc. is committed to treating people with disabilities with dignity and giving them the same chance to use our services as everyone else, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the standard used in Ontario, and we follow newer WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 guidance where we can.

What we do

  • Pages work with a keyboard, and a “Skip to main content” link appears when you press Tab.
  • Pages work with screen readers: headings are in order, images have text descriptions, and links and buttons have clear names.
  • You can zoom in on phones and computers, and text stays readable.
  • We check colour contrast so text is easy to read.
  • Loan costs are shown as text, not only as pictures.
  • We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand, and we fix what we find.

Parts we don’t fully control

Some parts of the site come from other companies, including the application form, the bank verification step, the Google reviews box and the chat assistant. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we can’t change everything in their tools. If one of these parts is hard for you to use, contact us and we will help you another way.

Other formats and help

If you need information from this site in another format, such as a large-print or plain-text copy of a page, our loan costs or the Ontario payday loan information we are required to give you, just ask. We will work with you to provide it in a format that suits your needs, at no cost.
